The images sometimes look a bit blurry in the online shop. Will the delivered print be sharp?

Yes - absolutely. All prints are delivered sharp and in high quality.

For website performance reasons, our online shop displays compressed preview images and automatically adjusts them to different screen sizes. Depending on your device, browser, or zoom level, the preview may occasionally appear slightly soft.

However, for printing and production we always use the full-resolution original files, professionally prepared and optimized for the selected print size and format. This ensures you receive a crisp, detailed final print in the best possible quality.

Will my artwork be sent with hanging hardware?

Yes, all of our artworks are delivered with the appropriate hanging hardware. The exact specification depends on the selected frame and finish.

Please note that ALHO Photo does not provide nails or screws for wall installation. Wall materials and product weights can vary significantly, so we recommend choosing the appropriate mounting hardware based on your specific wall type and installation requirements.

How do I clean Acrylic Photo Prints, Metal Prints or Photo Canvases?

Your artwork can be dusted with a lint-free, soft, and dry cloth (e.g. microfiber). To ensure long-lasting enjoyment of your WhiteWall piece, please refrain from using any glass cleaning products for our prints mounted on a backing board or with acrylic glass. We also recommend to avoid applying pressure while wiping their surfaces.

What is the weight of my product?

Below are the approximate weights per square meter (kg/m²) for our most popular products:

  • Acrylic Prints (depending on thickness): approx. 6–14 kg/m²
  • Metal Prints: approx. 3.4–4.5 kg/m²
  • Canvas Prints (including stretcher frame): approx. 0.6–1.8 kg/m²
  • Wood Prints: approx. 9 kg/m²
  • Forex Prints: approx. 2.1 kg/m²

Please note: final weight may vary slightly depending on size and optional mounting systems.

What are the delivery times?

We put our best into every single artwork. Delivery times vary depending on the selected print and framing option, but are typically between 7 and 14 days.

How long do digital and photographic prints last?

The longevity of pigment-based prints and traditional photographic prints is a key indicator of their overall quality. We work exclusively with premium materials from trusted manufacturers and rely on production techniques that have been refined and tested over many years. Particular attention is given to the finishing stages - including careful processing, fixing, and drying - to ensure maximum durability.

Under gallery or exhibition conditions, our prints are designed to remain color-stable and resistant to fading for at least 75 years.

You can further support the preservation of your artwork by displaying it away from direct sunlight and avoiding environments with high humidity. Proper placement and care will help maintain the vibrancy and color accuracy of your print for decades to come.

An Acrylic Photo Print combines a high-quality photographic print with a crystal-clear acrylic glass surface. The image is mounted behind the acrylic panel, which enhances sharpness, contrast, and color brilliance while creating an impressive sense of depth.

Depending on the selected option, the acrylic thickness can vary, and for additional stability the piece is reinforced on the back with a rigid aluminum panel. The result is a sleek, modern presentation with exceptional durability and visual impact.

Framing Details

Are images in frames interchangeable?

Framed prints are custom-produced and therefore cannot be exchanged. Each frame is carefully sealed to protect the artwork and preserve its quality over time.

Because of this protective sealing, the print cannot be removed or replaced once assembled. This ensures long-term durability and maintains a clean, seamless presentation.

Will my order include pricing information?

Within the European Union

For shipments within the EU, no pricing details are included inside the package. The invoice is sent separately via email. The parcel contains only a delivery note listing the ordered items, along with contact details of both our company and the person who placed the order.

If you prefer not to display our company information on the delivery note, you can choose the neutral shipping option during checkout. In that case, only the contact details of the ordering party will appear.

Outside the European Union

For deliveries outside the EU, no pricing information is placed inside the package. The invoice will be provided separately via email.

However, as we are based in Germany, international shipments require a commercial invoice attached to the outside of the parcel for customs clearance. This document must include the item values and company details to comply with customs regulations. Shipments cannot be processed internationally without this documentation.
